Ore dressing ball mill and the cement ball mill liner

In China, most of the wet ball mill liner in the ore dressing plant adopt the metal liner,the main is hgih manganese steel liner. Common high manganese liner(Mn13) features are impact hardening,improve its lifetime,the key is improve its initial hardness.
The ore dressing ball mill liner has been improved now, like rubber liner,PVC liner,etc.

Cement ball mill is different with the ore dressing ball mill: first, the cement ball mill is low rotary speed, second, cement ball mill is longer,ore dressing ball mill is shorter and diameter larger. Thirdly, the first chamber ‘s grinding balls are smallers much than the ore dressing ball mill’s balls.  So the chrome and alloy liner is better for the cement ball mill.
For the medium size cement ball mill, dia 2.4-3.2m,the ball mill head can adopt the medium-carbon,medium-alloy steel, shell liner can adopt high-low-chome cast steel, for the oompartment liner,medium-carbon and medium-alloy is feasible.
