Ball mill grinding balls secondary ball loading usage and principe

Ball mill grinding balls in the first chamber is crush the materials, at the ame time, has grinding usage. Therefore,when match the grinding balls, will meet the two requirements.

Crushing good or not influence the other chamber’s grinding efficiency directly, and also influence the ball mill production capacity. Whether reach the crushing requirement will depending on the grinding balls matched reasonable or not. Mainly include the grinding balls size, balls diameter ,percentage of different specifications. Consider the balls specification,ball mill inside structure,product fineness ,and also consider the feeding material input size,hardness,etc.

In order to assure the crushing efficiently in the frst chamber,when load the grinding balls, must follow these principle: first, the grinding balls must has enough big impact force, so that the grinding balls can crush the materials,this is refer to the max balls diameter. Secondly, the balls must impact the materials for many times this is refer to the average balls diameter.

When the ball load is fixed,  on the condition of engouh impact force of the grinding balls, reduc e the grinding media diameter , increase the balls quantity to improve the impact times, to improve the crushing efficiency. At last, the materials should has enough stay time in the chamber,to assure the materials crushed enoughly, this require the grinding balls has capacity of control the material flow speed.
