The daily maintenance of the ball mill

 The daily maintenance of the ball mill

Ball mill is the fine grinding machine in the industry,which is

suitable for grinding various of ores and other materials,it is widely

used in the ore dressing, building and chemical industry, Because of

the working strength requirements,   its daily maintenance is very

important especially lubricant replacement maintenance is especially

important.

1.All of the lubrication oil shall be taken out after f the ball mill

continous running for one month , clean thoroughly, replace new oil.and

then , change the oil every 6months.

2.Inspect every lubrication piont lubrication system and the oil

surface height every other 4hours.

3. When the ball mill running, main bearing lubrication oil temperature

should be no more than  55℃

4. When ball mill running normally, driving shaft and the gear box’s

temperature should be no more than 55℃, Highest do not exceed 60℃

5.Girth gear and the pinion gear transmission smoothly, no unusual

noises, adjust the gap when necessary.

6.Ball mill running smoothly, no strong vibrating.

7.Motor current should be no abnormal fluctuations

8.Each connecting fasteners should not loose, combinedsurface is no oil

leaking,no water leaking,no ore leaking.

9.Add the grinding balls according to the wear pattern and add the

balls timely.

10.Stop the ball mill and maintain if find abnormal conditions.

11. Ball mill liner should replace when there is 70% attrition or have

70mm long crack.

12.Replace the liner bolts when it loose or wear.

13. Replace the main bearing when there is serious wear

14. Replace the grid plate of the grate ball mill when it wear to can’t

weld.

15 Girth gear surface wear to a certain can flip sides continue to use

16.Replace the pinion when it is serious wear.

17.Weld up the feeding&discharing screws when it wear, replace them

when it can’t be welded up.

18. Repair the stone bolts when it loose or wear.
